Leisure Suit Larry III: Passionate Patti in Pursuit of the Pulsating Pectorals is the third game in Leisure Suit Larry series from Sierra On-Line. When I first play this game, I must admit I have mixed feelings toward it. On the positive side, the sequel stays true to the spirit of Al Lowe's zany, tongue-in-cheek humor of a chauvinistic male who tries so desperately to score with the opposite…

1989, I was 9 years old, LSL3 was the first Game I got on my Amiga500, just before MI1.
The blond girl at the beach scene isn't fantasy.
My Ex doesn't only look like her, after her I had a crab, in my head, too. Crazy and wonderful piece of Software.

I agree with Sami. This game is way better than the reviewer describes it. Beyond the conversational and story humour, every part of the game is awesome. The music is fantastic and it helps the game to create a memorable atmosphere. Larry looks at its best in the whole series and I even loved the text input system. I remember being stucked at some point and starting to type words like "f**k" and the computer replying in a "yeah, I bet you'd like that..." style.
It's impossible not to love this game. In my oppinion is the best LSL in the series.

Aargh, you guys are pussies :) I suspect you are really young. I feel so old when reading this review :) This is the real deal, I remember being astonished by this game when it came out. You have to put everything in context and of course it's cumbersome (for some) compared to modern games. But you have to look beyond that really ...

I sympathize with the reviewer. Anyone accustomed to playing modern graphic adventures would be thrown by LSL 3, with its text parser. LSL 3 is the only Larry game left where there is no point-and-click version available. Both LSL 1 and 2 have been rereleased as pure point-and-clickers, but Patti remains true to the old adventure style. While Patti is at times a real challenge, it is an excellent adventure game of its type. Fun, funny and absorbing. I would rate it as the second best of the series, after LSL 6.
