Two Enrollment Models
Cohort vs. Individual Enrollment

Districts can purchase a full cohort experience or enroll individual participants. Both models include 1 year of access from the date of enrollment.

District Cohort
A district signs up a group of teachers and runs the course together as a cohort with scheduled live sessions, an onboarding event, and a CodeHS PD Specialist as the cohort lead.

* Scheduled live sessions throughout the cohort

* Dedicated onboarding session for participants

* Assigned PD Specialist as cohort lead

* Midterm and final exam reviews in live sessions

* 1 year of course access from date of onboarding

Individual / Non-Cohort
Individual teachers enroll in a generic non-district-specific section. They follow the course at their own pace and still have access to live session recordings, materials, and 1:1 support.

* Self-paced through the full course

* Access to past live session recordings and resources

* 1:1 support sessions available on request

* In-course grading and support via Conversation tab

* 1 year of course access from date of enrollment

How Teachers Are Supported
PD Support Model

CodeHS surrounds certification candidates with multiple layers of support, so teachers always have a path forward when they get stuck.

Participant Onboarding
An onboarding session for participants, conducted by your assigned PD Specialist to launch the cohort.

Daily Grading
Grading and answering questions through Conversations is completed daily for timely feedback.

Live Classes
Weekly live classes on the coding units, scheduled after school hours, with strong summer attendance.

Exam Reviews
Midterm and final exam reviews built into cohort live sessions, flexible to cohort needs.

1:1 Sessions
Available on request through the lead PD Specialist or by emailing the certification course lead.

District Check-Ins
Admin-required scheduled district check-ins with your CodeHS PD Specialist keep implementation on track.

Workday Support
When districts provide release time, teachers are supported throughout the workday as needed.

Office Hours / Q&A
Open-door office hours give teachers a regular, low-stakes way to bring questions and get help.

Professional Learning Credit
Certificate of Completion

Participants who complete the course earn a Certificate of Completion for their Professional Development, which they can share with their district. Participants are encouraged to finish 100% of the course before taking the exam for best results.

* Awarded on completion of the course
