DETECT ALZHEIMER'S
Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a serious and irreversible brain disorder that impairs memory and cognition, progressively worsening to include behavioral changes and an inability to perform simple tasks. It is estimated that AD affects over 7 million adults aged 65 years and older in the United States today and is projected to affect nearly 13 million adults by 2050.
Alzheimer’s is the most common cause of dementia, accounting for 60% to 80% of cases. AD has a broad impact on the lives of patients and their caregivers, as well as on supporting healthcare and long-term care systems. Although there is no cure for AD, early diagnosis, adoption of healthy lifestyle changes, and advancements in treatment can help patients maintain brain health, improve cognitive function, and slow or delay the progression of their disease.
