We consulted with all residents in the area on our proposal in December 2023 and January 2024. You can see the results of that consultation on the Let’s Talk Lincolnshire website. A deal was agreed with the government in 2024 that then allowed the formation of the Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority (GLCCA). All three constituent councils sit on the GLCCA with voting rights. The GLCCA is now established including an elected Mayor following elections on 1 May 2025.
