It is our policy, insofar as it is reasonably within its control, to provide a campus environment for faculty, staff, students, and the public that will not adversely affect their health and safety, nor subject them to avoidable risks of accidental injury. The Injury and Illness Plan (IIPP) is the comprehensive safety policy for the entire university. The objective of an effective injury and illness prevention program is to assist management in determining what hazards exist in the workplace, how to correct hazards that may occur, and what steps to take to prevent them from recurring.
