Affinity & Support Groups
We recognize that community is important and as such we work with a number of campus and community partners to ensure that our students have access to a number of affinity and support groups to explore their identities, connect, and address particular issues they face on a daily basis. These spaces change based on the need and demand that arises in our community and the community volunteers we have to run these spaces. Continue to check back to see new offerings and how to connect with groups.
Note: Please do not attend these affinity and support groups for classroom projects and/or assignments. This practice may cause harm to members of our community. If you are interested in connecting with members of these groups, please reach out directly to the facilitator or one of our professional staff who can refer you to an appropriate space.
Affinity Groups are being revised for Fall 2021.
PRIDE Career Mentoring Group
Online Forum Group
This group connects LGBTQIA+ mentors and mentees within the Cal Poly community and allows members to learn from each other and make connections.
Please note before requesting access to join that your identity will be visible to other group members, once admitted to this group. There is no screening process for admitting group members, but all members must be Cal Poly students, staff, faculty, or alumni. Visit tiny.cc/PrideCM
Q Chat Space for Queer Youth
