From your first quarter through graduation, you’ll find tutoring, academic coaching, study sessions, and supplemental instruction designed to help you grow academically, personally, and professionally. Come visit us and give your academics a little TLC !  You can also explore our online Study Strategies Library , a collection of resources to help you strengthen your skills and thrive at Cal Poly.   ACADEMIC COACHING TUTORING SERVICES STUDY SESSIONS SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTION Peer coaches help students strengthen habits of mind, develop effective study strategies, and stay motivated along their learning journey. Coaching sessions offer a supportive space to reflect, plan, and grow. Peer tutoring is available across all colleges in subjects like writing, math, science,engineering, and marine transportation. Students can book appointments or drop in for sessions, offered in person and online. Study Sessions create a collaborative space for students in STEM courses to review material, discuss concepts, and strengthen understanding with guidance from experienced peer leaders. Supplemental Instruction offers peer-led sessions tied to challenging courses where students meet weekly to practice course concepts through collaborative learning activities.
