Video transcript
The BBC is full of opportunities, but is there a place for people like you and me here?
I'm just about to go on air to read the 1:00 news. But of course, my job, the one that the viewers see, is just one of so many. There's so many different roles here at the BBC.
Now, if you're interested in AI, data, or machine learning, you won't just be predicting trends. You'll be helping us transform how millions interact with the BBC.
Or maybe you're into coding. Well you can develop your knowledge of different networks and systems, or even start a career in cyber security.
If you're a numbers person, you could join one of the finance teams here at the BBC. The finance teams are responsible for keeping shows on budget and making sure everyone gets paid. And that's really important.
Or maybe you fancy joining one of our HR teams, helping create a culture where everyone can thrive and do their best work.
You could be one of the next generation of media systems engineers, helping the BBC to deliver content across TV, radio, and digital platforms. Or you could be one of our operators. Why not try some studio directing or operating one of our cameras? Together, we make sure that the show always goes on.
So, if you want to work in production, you could be a researcher, a production coordinator, or do what I'm doing as a floor manager and work on the news, which is what I'm doing today.
Are you passionate about telling stories that could shape the headlines people are talking about locally, nationally, even globally? Then why not think about a career in journalism?
Good afternoon. Welcome to the news at 1.
And we don't just work in English. We create content in over 40 languages. With bases around the UK, your talent is needed everywhere.
You don't need to fit in a mould to make it here at the BBC. Whoever you are, there's a place for you and your voice matters.
Isn't that right, Pudsey?

'Get In' Taster experiences
If you're aged between 16 and 18, you can apply for one of our 'Get In' Taster experiences .
"As a trainee on The Cultural Frontline, I pitched an episode about integrating disabled musicians into the mainstream music industry. I was given freedom to learn and confidence to co-produce my own show."
Kevin, Production Advanced Trainee
What we're looking for
We're interested in what makes you unique. What are your interests and values? We're not looking for people with extensive experience. We want to hear your ideas and for you to contribute to our teams, helping us ensure that the BBC represents all the audiences and communities we serve.
We'll support you in reaching your full potential. BBC apprentices are paid above the National Living Wage, and we offer a range of support, initiatives, and networks to help our employees thrive. If you come from a working-class background, you may wish to read more about our commitment to supporting socio-economic diversity and what this could mean for you as an employee at the BBC. We value what every individual brings. Diversity is extremely important to us.
