Cal Poly offers a Term Payment Plan to allow for a more flexible payment option. The student must self-enroll (from the Student Center) in the payment plan each term after their charges have posted and 60 days of the System Wide Due Date for that term. The Term Payment plan will split the current term's Registration and Tuition fees into four monthly payment amounts. Once enrolled in the payment plan, students can easily view and make monthly payments through the CASHNet Online Payment system. What is it? - The Term Payment Plan affords a student the opportunity to spread out most Tuition-Registration and Mandatory Campus Based Fees into four installments with due dates one month apart. The first due date is always the system-wide due date for that term with subsequent due dates one and two months later. If you want to be in a Term Payment Plan for the term, you MUST ENROLL in the plan following a four step process. See the Set Up Guide . When Is It Available? - You may enroll in the Term Payment Plan during the period from when charges post for the term until 60 days after the System Wide Due Date for that term. Here's how to make a partial payment towards Tuition-Registration, Housing or Dining. * Give Your Mustang Supporter Access A few quick tips on how to keep your Mustang Supporter connected to what's going on in your Student Account - so they can see what's due when and make payments. * Set Up "Authorize to Release (FERPA)" How to set up Authorize to Release and provide expressed consent for us to share financial information with your Mustang Supporters. * Set Up Share My Information How to set up Share My Information Reports so your Mustang Supporter(s) can see Charges, Due Dates, Financial Aid and more - just like what you see in Money Matters and your Cal Poly portal. * Set Up a Supporter Payment Portal How to Set Up your Mustang Supporter with access to their own Payment Portal. * Direct Deposit for Refunds When there is a credit balance on the Student Account (either from excess Financial Aid or a personal payment in excess of charges), the credit can be refunded. Setting up Direct Deposit for Refunds insures that the money gets back to the student as quickly and safely as possible. * Registration Holds and Past Due Balances When a financial obligation is past due, a Registration Hold is placed on the Student Account preventing the student from adding or changing classes. * Class Cancellation If you do NOT have Financial Aid and have a past due balance prior to the beginning of the term, you may be subject to Class Cancellation - and have all your enrolled classes dropped.
