They empower students and help them develop their skills in a safe environment. * Student Life * Student Organizations The student organizations are divided into five main themes: Academic and Career-Related, Community Service and Civic Engagement, Arts and Culture, Tech and Special Interests, and Student Engagement and Outreach. Academic and Career-Related Accounting Association The Accounting Association strives to serve accounting students and prepare them with skills and knowledge and ensure that they are well-equipped professional financial leaders in the business world. Email: [email protected] Follow us on: American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Founded in1880 as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, ASME is a not-for-profit professional organization that enables collaboration, knowledge sharing and skill development across all engineering disciplines, while promoting the vital role of the engineer in society. The mandate of American Society of Mechanical Engineers is to complement the engineering curriculum, fostering professional development, technical competency and networking of student members . It acts as a bridge between academic study and the professional, industry-based practice of engineering. American Society of Mechanical Engineers ( ASME) AUC Student Section is an official representative of the ASME organization at AUC. The ASME Board has set a long-term mission to make ASME far more inclusive of University students of all majors, redefining what students can do at an engineering club. By heavily saturating ASME non-MENG members in HR, Logistics, Multimedia and Marketing, the board has grown the non-MENG members and will keep growing to be more inclusive of all majors. The AUC ASME club collaborates with ASME Unplugged (podcast) and Engineering Festival (EFx), as well as collaborating across University academic events and competitions such as SolidWorks and MATLAB. Follow us on: Architecture Association The Architecture Association aims to attain all standards of excellence in different aspects and services to ensure that the association is a sufficient platform for all architecture students, where the association serves the student body by providing facilities, opportunities and services as well as collaborations and talks with various speakers and businesses. Email: [email protected] Follow us on: Biology Association The Biology Association s mission is to serve undergraduate Biology students by supporting the educational mission of the Department of Biology, enabling biology students to advance on the academic, intellectual, and professional levels. The association aspires to focus on the psychological side of the students by offering them different social and entertainment events to relieve academic stress, as well as collaborations and talks with various speakers and businesses. The association is open to all students who are interested in biology. Email: [email protected] Follow us on: Business Association The Business Association (BA) is an entity that aims to serve business students both academically and socially by keeping them connected with the business community, empowering their learning process and bridging the distance between students, the School of Business and employers. By integrating academic knowledge, practical experience and leisure activities, the association supports students through real-world experiences and professional opportunities. It fosters growth through events, workshops, collaborations with field experts and industry connections while aligning with the School of Business s goal of developing entrepreneurial leaders. Email: [email protected] Follow us on: Chemistry Association The Chemistry Club is in parallel support to the educational mission of the Department of Chemistry to serve and develop chemistry students on the academic and professional levels as well as collaborations and talks with various speakers and businesses. It is open to all students interested in chemistry. Email: [email protected] Follow us on: Construction Engineering Association The Construction Engineering Association (CEA) aims to serve construction engineering students and empower them to be among the next generation of leaders by building a sustainable association. The mandate of the association is to represent construction engineering students, support their academic and professional development and bridge the gap between students and industry. To provide a foundation for networking and the exchange of experiences, the association is authorized to organize academic, professional and social activities, including workshops, site visits, recruitment events, trips and networking sessions in coordination with the faculty and University administration. These initiatives expose students to the construction industry both inside and outside Egypt and aim to enhance students technical knowledge, industry exposure, and career readiness. The organization creates hands-on learning spaces where students actively practice and apply diverse skills, workshops and masterclasses to help members graduate with real projects, strong networks and the confidence to shape their future. EA serves students by acting as a liaison between students and faculty and paving the way for students' career readiness after University. ENACTUS AUC, advances this mission by promoting hands-on community impact through campus events and supporting innovative startups that improve life for underrepresented groups. Additionally, builds a passionate team for national and international competitions, raising awareness of sustainability goals and attracting talent to drive entrepreneurial action for a world where all can thrive through official Enactus Egypt competition and talk to an Entrepreneur events. The society works to fuel the entrepreneurial spirit within every ambitious young person to create pioneering entrepreneurs and bridge the gap between dreams and their fulfillment through collaborations and partnerships with such as Made in Egypt, startup competitions and junior startup competitions. Email: [email protected] Follow us on: Math, Actuarial and Data Science Association (MADS) The Math, Actuarial and Data Science Association strives to serve, represent and empower students majoring or minoring in actuarial science, mathematics and data science through hosting info sessions, training sessions, workshops and competitions and ensure a smooth academic experience. The Math, Actuarial and Data Science Association (MADS) strives to serve, represent and empower students majoring or minoring in actuarial science, mathematics and data science at AUC. The association is committed to fostering a dynamic and supportive environment and advancing the career, academic and community development of its members through a consistent lineup of initiatives, including info sessions, training sessions, workshops and competitions, to ensure a smooth academic experience. This is through multiple collaborations and partnerships such as Data and AI Hacathons, Mathematics of Music event, venture capital and research competitions, thisis events, study circles, debate nights and quant initiatives. The association supports students academically through tutoring, workshops and resources while providing practical industry exposure through projects, partnerships and competitions. By utilizing both theoretical and practical approaches, the association builds leadership, teamwork and professional skills among its members. Furthermore, it organizes initiatives that foster engagement, inclusivity and a sense of belonging, ultimately strengthening the link between students, alumni and industry partners to enhance career opportunities. Email: [email protected] Society of Physics Students The Society of Physics Students is the AUC chapter of the international SPS of the American Institute of Physics. It connects all physics students, graduates and all interests with the field. Additionally, it presents science and physics for all society in an accessible and engaging way. It offers many opportunities, accessibility to publications, and events for students. Email: [email protected] Community Service and Civic Engagement 3alraseef 3alraseef is dedicated to supporting underprivileged children and refugees in Egypt by meeting the necessary developmental and educational needs of unprivileged children and homeless youth. Through targeted community outreach, the club provides essential resources and specialized learning programs to ensure these vulnerable groups have a path toward a better future. The club also collaborates with non-governmental organizations in Manshiyat Naser. The association has held cat adoption days and makes periodic animal shelter visits across Cairo. Email: [email protected] Follow us on: Anthropology, Sociology, Egyptology Association The Anthropology Sociology Egyptology (ASE) Student Association aims to foster an environment of knowledge exchange, creativity and passion for the social sciences that is accessible to students in the SEA Department, School of Humanities and Social Sciences and AUC. We aim to achieve this by organizing discussions, collaborations and talks with various speakers, film screenings, trips and various other events around the themes tackled in the fields of anthropology, sociology and Egyptology. By encouraging dialogue between students from various disciplines and departments, we aim to create a community that is engaged and passionate about humanities and social sciences. Through its various community service programs, the club also strives to provide for people in need who are elders or differently abled and empower women. The club held Elders' Day with various nursing homes across Egypt. These initiatives aim to engage and develop the mindsets and characters of University members by building connections and serving the community. The club also conducts a weekly children's development session with the non-governmental organization, Misr El Adima. By leading nationwide charity initiatives, the University fosters a spirit of service among its members, who volunteer to sort donated clothes, pack food essentials and help renovate underprivileged areas. The club also collaborates with Misr El Kheir for weekly orphanage visits. PSSA addresses a platform that aims to rectify and reconstitute the academic political science spectrum of course selection, fellowship and distinguished curriculum and to safeguard the vocation and profession of our future leaders. By providing education, clothes and conducting home repairs, the club works to improve the living conditions of local residents. Furthermore, the club serves these communities by arranging blood drives with the Egyptian Blood Bank and securing essential resources for those in need. Members of the club organize community dinners, raise awareness about disabilities and host orphaned youth to campus for educational support, and helping the homeless population in Cairo by providing the necessary tools that help them out of homelessness for good, as well as aiding those with disabilities.
